TBA Ponoka's professional rodeo includes an outdoor rodeo as well as chuckwagon races, and attracts competitors from all over North America. An evening stage show and a parade are included in the festivities and there is a beer garden with live musical performances. Free camping spots are available on the Stampede grounds.
Sep 26 To commemorate the anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope, every school in Canada is invited to participate in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. This event will be held simultaneously at schools large and small from coast-to-coast. With millions of schools participating, this could one of the largest single-day events in Canadian history and will allow our youth to show all of Canada the power they have to help others.
